Reaction Steps
4-[1-(6-Benzyloxy-benzofuran-2-yl)-1-ethyl-propyl]-2-methyl-phenol (5.50 g, 13.7 mmol) and 1-bromopinacolone (4.92 g, 27.5 mmol) and K2CO3 (3.80 g, 27.5 mmol) are reacted analogous to Example 1E to give the title compound as a pale yellow oil (5.90 g, 86%).
