Reaction Steps
4-[1-(5-Benzyloxy-benzofuran-2-yl)-1-ethyl-propyl]-2-methyl-phenol (4.05 g, 10.1 mmol) and 1-bromopinacolone (2.17 g, 12.1 mmol) and K2CO3 (2.79 g, 20.2 mmol) in acetone (50 mL) are reacted analogous to Example 18-E to give the title compound (3.20 g, 63%).
