Procedure
A mixture of 3-(4-benzyloxyphenyl)-2-furancarboxylic acid hydrazide (compound of Reference Example 79, 0.44 g) and the compound of Reference Example 63 (0.50 g) in ethyl acetate (10 ml) was heated at reflux overnight while stirring. Water was added to the reaction solution, and the thus-precipitated crystals were collected by filtration and recrystallized from ethyl acetate, thereby giving 0.29 g of the desired compound. Melting point: 208-209° C.
