Procedure
A mixture of 3,4-diphenyl-2-furancarboxylic acid hydrazide (compound of Reference Example 32, 5.2 g) and the compound of Reference Example 63 (6.1 g) in ethyl acetate (10 ml) was heated at reflux overnight while stirring. The thus-precipitated crystals were collected by filtration and recrystallized from ethyl acetate/diisopropyl ether, thereby giving 5.1 g of the desired compound. Melting point: 178-179° C.
