3-Chloro-4-hydroxybenzoic acid → Benzoic Acid
Reaction equation
O[C:2]1[CH:10]=[CH:9][C:5]([C:6]([OH:8])=[O:7])=[C:4](F)[CH:3]=1.OC1C=CC(C(O)=O)=CC=1Cl>>[C:6]([OH:8])(=[O:7])[C:5]1[CH:9]=[CH:10][CH:2]=[CH:3][CH:4]=1Participants
3
Procedure
Using 4-hydroxyfluorobenzoic acid and 4-hydroxy-3-chlorobenzoic acid, reactions and treatments were carried out in the same manner as in Reference Example 80, thereby giving various benzoic acid derivatives.
