4.0 g (12 mmol) of the compound from Step 12.2 in 80 mL of water was hydrogenated in the presence of 0.4 g of Pd/C (10%) under 9 bar of hydrogen pressure. After 3 hours the catalyst was filtered off and the water was removed in a rotary evaporator.
