A solution of (4-isopropylpiperazin-1-yl)(5-(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-2-(4-(3-(trifluoromethyl)pyridin-2-yl)piperazin-1-yl)-1-((2-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxy)methyl)-1H-imidazol-4-yl)methanone from step (f) above was dissolved in TFA (1 mL). The solution was stirred at RT for 1 h. The solvent was removed and the residue was purified on silica gel using ISCO Combiflash® system with DCM/2M methanolic ammonia gradient to give the title compound as a white solid. MS (ESI, positive ion) m/z: 596 (M+1).
