was synthesized by methods similar to those in Examples 3 and 4: 3,5-bis-trifluoromethylaniline was condensed with 2,3,7,8-tetrahydro-1H,6H-acridine-4,5-dione to yield 4,5-bis[3,5-bis-trifluoromethylphenylimino]-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydroacridine (5). The complexation of (5) with FeCl2.4H2O was carried out with azeotropic removal of methanol in benzene. The structure of the final complex was proved by direct probe GC. Exact mass direct probe calculated for C29H19Cl2F12FeN3: 763.01. Found: 763.01.
