Reaction Steps
10.0 g of 1,3-dicyclohexyl-3-[2-(2-naphthyloxy)ethyl]guanidine was dissolved in ethanol (100 ml) and 5.7 g 85% phosphoric acid in 100 ml ethanol was added to this solution. After 16 hours 1400 ml ether was added to the solution. The resulting precipitate was removed by filtration and dried under vacuum to afford the title compound (mp 132°-134°).
