Reaction Steps
A solution of 7-chloro-11-[(1-methyl)piperidin-4-yl]5H,11H-pyrrolo[2,1-c][1,4]benzoxazepine (4.0 g; 0.013 mole) and N-chlorosuccinimide (2.0 g; 0.015) mole in 150 ml of tetrahydrofuran was heated at reflux for 4.5 hours.
