A mixture of 1.3 g of 7-chloro-1-cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid, 1.9 g of 3-ethenylpiperazine and 15 ml of pyridine is heated at 140° C. in a pressure bottle for 18 hours and then purified as described in Example 101, giving 210 mg of the desired product.
