4M HCl in 1,4-Dioxane (6 mL) was added to 1,1-dimethylethyl methyl[1-(5-methyl-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)-4-piperidinyl]carbamate D22 (0.793 g) and the mixture stirred for 2 hours. The mixture was filtered under vacuum. The solid was washed with dioxane and Et2O. The white powder was dried under vacuum all the night to give the desired product D23 in 0.6479 g.
