Procedure
To a solution of 2-((2,6-dichloropyrimidin-4-yl)amino)-2-methylpropan-1-ol (6.67 g, 28.3 mmol) and triethylamine (11.59 mL, 85 mmol) in dichloromethane (DCM) (100 mL) was added dropwise MsCl (4.40 mL, 56.5 mmol) at 0° C. The reaction mixture was stirred at rt for 2 h, diluted with DCM (100 mL), washed with water (50 mL×3) then brine (50 mL×2), dried over Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated to give the residue as a yellow solid, which was used for the next step without further purification.
Workup
- washwashed with water (50 mL×3)
- dry with materialbrine (50 mL×2), dried over Na2SO4
- filtrationfiltered
