Procedure
To a solution of 2-((2,6-dichloropyrimidin-4-yl)amino)-2-methylpropyl methanesulfonate (3.00 g, 9.55 mmol) in 1,4-dioxane (15 mL) and water (15 mL) was added potassium carbonate (4.62 g, 33.4 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at 80° C. for 2 h, filtered, extracted with ethyl acetate (5 mL×2), dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated to give the crude product, which was used into next step without further purification.
