Reaction Steps
To a solution of 7-chloro-2,2-dimethyl-2,3-dihydroimidazo[1,2-c]pyrimidin-5(1H)-one (100 mg, 0.501 mmol) and iodoethane (94.0 mg, 0.601 mmol) in acetonitrile (4 mL) was added Cs2CO3 (326 mg, 1.00 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at 90° C. for 1 h, filtered and concentrated to afford the crude product (110 mg) as a brown solid.
