A solution of HCl in diethylether (2N, 5.5 mL) was added to a solution of tert-butyl 3-(thiazol-5-ylmethoxy)-azetidine-1-carboxylate (150 mg, 0.55 mmol) in diethylether (2 mL) at room temperature. The reaction mixture was stirred 30 minutes then concentrated to dryness. After trituration in diethyl ether (10 mL), the title compound was obtained as a yellow solid (113 mg, quantitative).
