Reaction Steps
To a solution of compound 7 (2.0 g, 12.8 mmol) in toluene (40 mL) and CH2Cl2 (18 mL) and was added 8 (3.96 g, 11.8 mmol). The mixture was heated at 70° C. overnight. Column chromatography gave pure compound 9 (1.40 g, 6.59 mmol, 51%) as a colorless oil.
