Procedure

3.00 g (4RS,5RS)-5-(4-chlorobenzyl)-4-dimethylaminomethyl-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-benzo[b]thiepin-5-ol (prepared as described in example 1 , stage 1 from (4RS)-4-dimethylaminomethyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[b]thiepin-5-one and 4-chlorobenzylmagnesium chloride), 17 ml methanesulfonic acid and 1.90 g methionine were stirred at 50° C. for 7 days. After working up, purification and conversion into the hydrochloride, as described in example 6, 1.87 g (59.4% of th.) of the title compound were obtained.
