To a solution of 2-chloro-3-methyl-6-(pyrimidin-4-yl)-3H-pyrimidin-4-one (9.80 g, 44.0 mmol) and (2S)-2-(4-(5-methyl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl)phenyl)morpholine hydrochloride (13.3 g, 47.2 mmol) was added triethylamine (13.4 g, 132 mmol) at room temperature, and the solution was stirred at room temperature for 4 hours. After the solution was concentrated under reduced pressure, the resulting crude product was washed with water, dried under reduced pressure to afford 3-methyl-2-((2S)-2-(4-(5-methyl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl)phenyl)morpholino)-6-(pyrimidin-4-yl)pyrimidin-4(3H)-one (the compound of the present invention, 18.0 g, 89%).
