Using the method similar to that in Example 57 and ethyl 4-bromobutyrate instead of 1-bromo-2-phenylethane and starting from 2,4-dioxo-3-[4-(4-diphenylmethoxypiperidino)butyl]-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinazoline (1.00 g) obtained in Example 80, the title compound was obtained as a crystal. This product was used in the next reaction without further purification.
