To a solution of 2-12 (77 mg, 0.18 mmol) in EtOH (2 mL) was added 1N NaOH (272 μl, 0.27 mmol). After stirring for 2 h, the solvents were evaporated and the residue was chromatographed (silica gel, 25:10:1:1 to 15:10:1:1 EtOAc/EtOH/H2O/NH4OH) to give 2-13 as a white solid.
