Reaction Steps
7-Cyclohexyloxy-2,2-dimethyl-benzo[1,3]dioxin-4-one was prepared from 7-hydroxy-2,2-dimethyl-benzo[1,3]dioxin-4-one and cyclohexanol under conditions analogous to example 51-a. 1H NMR (200 MHz, CDCl3): δ (ppm)=7.82 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1H), 6.61 (dd, J=8.8, 2.4 Hz, 1H), 6.39 (d, J=2.0 Hz, 1H), 4.30 (m, 1H), 2.02-1.28 (m, 10H), 1.73 (s, 6H).
