Procedure
Compound 48.5 (119 mg, 0.28 mmol) was dissolved in 2.6 mL CH3CN, treated with 2,6-lutidine (0.1 mL) and TMSBr (0.2 mL). The mixture was stirred at rt for 2 h and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was coevaporated with saturated NH4OH three times and the residue was subjected to a reverse phase HPLC to give compound 48.6 (100 mg, 92% yield). 1H NMR (D2O, 300 MHz) 7.45 (d, J=8.1 Hz, 1H), 6.22 (app d, J=8.7 Hz, 1H), 6.16 (app d, J=5.7 Hz, 1H), 5.85 (d, J=3.0 Hz, 1H), 5.71 (d, J=8.1 Hz, 1H), 4.31 (m, 1H), 4.24 (m, 1H); 31P NMR (D2O 121.4 MHz) 7.3; MS (ESI) m/z 359 [M−2H]+.
