Procedure
To a solution of 2-cyclopropyl-5H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyrazine-7-carboxylic acid [3-(1-hydroxy-1-methyl-ethyl)-pyrrolidin-3-yl]-amide (37 mg, 0.11 mmol) in MeOH (0.3 mL) at 0° C. was added HCl (1.0 M in MeOH, 0.17 mL, 0.17 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 5 min then concentrated. The residue was triturated with Et2O to afford 34 mg (92%) of 2-cyclopropyl-5H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyrazine-7-carboxylic acid [3-(1-hydroxy-1-methyl-ethyl)-pyrrolidin-3-yl]-amide hydrochloride as a yellow solid. MS: (M+H)+=330; mp=200.0-203.0.
