Procedure
To a solution of 405 mg (2.91 mmol) sulfuryl chloride in 15 mL anhydrous CHCl3 at 0° C. was slowly added a mixture of 915 mg (2.91 mmol) 2-(4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl)-2,8-diazaspiro[4.5]decan-1-one and 295 mg (2.91 mmol) NEt3 over a period of 30 min and stirred at 0° C. for 1 h. the mixture was allowed to warm to room temperature stirred for 1 h and 405 mg (2.91 mmol) sulfuryl chloride was added. The mixture was stirred for 5 h at room temperature, evaporated to dryness and used without further purification in the consecutive step. MS (ESI): 315.2 (M-SO2Cl)H+.
