A mixture of 1-[2-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]pyrrolidin 3-yl 4-methylbenzenesulfonate and 1-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]pyrrolidin-3-yl 4-methylbenzenesulfonate was obtained as white crystals (3.35 g, yield 69%) from a mixture of 1-[2-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]pyrrolidin-3-ol and 1-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]pyrrolidin-3-ol obtained in Reference Example 26 by a method similar to that in Reference Example 24. This was used for the next reaction without performing further purification.
