Add Pd/C (10%, 200 mg) to the solution of 1-methyl-4-(3-nitro-5-(trifluoromethyl)benzyl)piperazine (812 mg, 2.68 mmol) in methanol (15 mL), flush with H2, stir under hydrogen atmosphere for 16 hrs at room temperature. Filter and concentrate the filtrate to give the crude product (732 mg, 100%). MS: (M+1): 273.0.
