Reaction Steps
5-Benzoyl-6-(bromomethyl)-1,3-dimethylpyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione (Intermediate C)(670 mg, 1.987 mmol), 3-aminopropane-1,2-diol (0.231 ml, 2.98 mmol) and TEA (0.554 ml, 3.97 mmol) were combined in EtOH (15 ml) and heated at reflux for 15 mins.
