To a solution of tert-butyl 3-((((2-nitro-5-(thiophen-2-yl)phenyl)carbamoyl)oxy)methyl)azetidine-1-carboxylate (0.50 g, 1.15 mmol, 1 eq.) in dichloromethane (10 mL) was added TFA (3 mL) at 0° C. The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 2 h. The reaction was concentrated under reduced pressure. A saturated solution of sodium bicarbonate was added. The obtained solid was filtered and dried under reduced pressure to afford azetidin-3-ylmethyl (2-nitro-5-(thiophen-2-yl)phenyl)carbamate (0.35 g, 91%
