Reaction Steps
Compound 107-1 (429 mg, 1.42 mmol) was dissolved in THF (10 mL) and treated with potassium trimethylsilanolate (273 mg, 2.13 mmol). After stirring for 1 h, the mixture was concentrated in vacuo to provide 107-2 that was used directly in the next step.
