Procedure
To a stirred solution of 4-((4-fluorobenzyl)oxy)-1-(1-methyl-2-(3-oxocyclobutyl)-1H-benzimidazol-6-yl)pyridin-2(1H)-one (80 mg) in a mixture of THF (10 ml) and MeOH (3 ml) was added NaBH4 (15 mg) at 0° C. The mixture was then allowed to warm to room temperature, and stirred for 3 h. The reaction mixture was then quenched with saturated NH4Cl (5 ml), and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (MeOH/DCM) to give the title compound (50 mg) as an off-white solid.
