To a solution of 7-chloro-1-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-4-methoxy-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]pyridin-3-yl trifluoromethanesulfonate obtained in Step A of Example 152 (250 mg) in DMF (3 mL)/water (0.3 mL) were added ethyl (4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenoxy)acetate (241 mg), (1,1′-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene)dichloropalladium(II) (23 mg) and cesium carbonate (367 mg). The reaction mixture was stirred overnight at 90° C. The reaction mixture was diluted with water, and the aqueous layer was washed with ethyl acetate, and neutralized 1M hydrochloric acid at 0° C., and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with saturated brine, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The obtained residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate/hexane) to give the title compound (166 mg).
