Procedure

A mixture of compound 82 (320 mg, 0.4 mmol) and allyl bromide (0.05 mL, 0.6 mmol) and K2CO3 (110 mg, 0.8 mmol) in acetone (2.0 mL) was stirred for 18 hours under reflux. The mixture was partitioned between EtOAc and water. The organic layer was washed with brine, dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography to provide the product 83 (130 mg, 37%) as colorless oil.
