Reaction Steps
The title compound 79 is prepared according to the procedure reported in step C of Example 8 with indanone 78 (0.5 g, 2.1 mmol) and crotonaldehyde (0.75 mL) as reactants. Purification by column chromatography on SiO2 (Petroleum Ether/EtOAc=1:1) afford the title compound 79 as a white solid. (Yield 0.5 g, 91%).
