1-(2,4-Difluoro-phenyl)-5-[4-(4-BOC-homopiperazin-1-yl)-phenyl]-3-[di-(trifluoromethyl)-hydroxy-methyl]-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole (340.0 mg, 0.6 mmol) prepared in Example 408 was added to a saturated solution of hydrochloric acid in ethyl acetate (5.0 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours and then concentrated under reduced pressure to give 250.0 mg of the titled compound as a pale yellow solid.
