tert-butyl 2-(3-iodo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-2-methylpropanoate 7.03 (530 mg, 1.58 mmol) was dissolved in DCM (7 mL) and TFA (7 mL). The reaction was stirred at r.t. for 18 h and was concentrated in vacuo to afford crude 2-(3-iodo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-2-methylpropanoic acid 7.04 that was used without further purification. LCMS-ESI+ (m/z): [M+H]+ calcd for C7H10IN2O2: 280.98; found: 280.91.
