tert-Butyl (2R)-2-([{4-(6-chloro-7-methyl-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-2-yl)-2-hydroxyphenyl]amino}methyl)pyrrolidine-1-carboxylate (Example 250a) (0.017 g, 0.037 mmol) was dissolved in dichloromethane (3 ml) and trifluoroacetic acid (1 ml). After 3 h, the reaction mixture was evaporated and the residue was purified by HPLC-C18, giving the title product as a bis(trifluoroacetate) (0.012 g, 55%).
