To a solution of 7 (40 mg, 0.19 mmol) in THF (1 mL) was added ethyl isocyanate (27 μL, 0.34 mmol) as a solution in THF (0.5 mL). The reaction was heated to reflux overnight then concentrated in vacuo. The crude product was purified by preparative HPLC to afford Ia-84.
