Reaction Steps
6-chloro-3-phenylpyrido[2,3-b]pyrazin-2-ol (3-2) (26.2 g, 102 mmol) and hydrazine hydrate (26.2 g, 102 mmol) in 1,4-dioxane (400 mL) was stirred at 100° C. for 3 days. To the mixture was added EtOAc and water. The resulting solid was collected by filtration to give 6-hydrazino-3-phenylpyrido[2,3-b]pyrazin-2-ol (3-3) as yellow powder.
