Reaction Steps

To a solution of 1I (170 mg, 0.367 mmol) in THF (5 mL) and MeOH (5 mL) at RT was added palladium 5% wt. on activated carbon (85 mg). The reaction mixture was stirred under a hydrogen balloon for lh. The reaction was filtered and the filtrate concentrated to give the title compound as a light yellowish oil (120 mg, 100%). LC/MS (method A): retention time=3.07 min, (M+H)+=330.
