A suspension of 3D (1.1 g, 2.18 mmol) and platinium 5% wt. on activated carbon (800 mg) in THF (80 mL) and MeOH (80 mL) was stirred at RT under H2 at 70 psi for 2 days. After this time, no starting material was detected by LC-MS. The reaction mixture was filtered and the filtrate was concentrated to give the title compound as a off-white foam (1.04 g, 94%). LC/MS (method A): retention time=3.19 min (M+H)+=506.
