Reaction Steps
A mixture of 2.25 g (4.68 mmol) 2-[(2,4-Dichloro-benzoyl)-(3,4-dimethoxy-phenyl)-amino]-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester, 2.5 ml acetic acid and 7.5 ml HCl conc. in 10 ml dioxane was heated to 60° C. for 2 h. The precipitate was filtered off and washed with dioxane to yield after drying 0.566 g (22%) of the title compound. MS (m/e): 453.0 (MH+, 100%)
