A mixture of 24A (142 mg, 0.604 mmol) and PBr3 (0.61 mL, 1M in CH2Cl2, 0.61 mmol) in THF (5 mL) was heated to reflux for 30 minutes. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature, CH2Cl2 was added and the mixture was filtered. The solid was rinsed with CH2Cl2 and dried to give 24B (198.2 mg, 86.6%). HPLC Rt=1.756 min.
