Procedure
The title compound from example 2 is bulk copolymerized by dissolving 0.1 parts of azobisisobutyronitrile in an argonpurged mixture of 1.4 parts of ethyl beta-isocyanatoacrylate and 1.0 parts of styrene, all parts being by weight. The resultant reaction mixture is held at 80° C. for 24 hours. The semi-solid reaction mass is titrated with 20 parts of dry acetone, filtered, washed with 100 parts of hexane and dried in vacuo at 60° C. to obtain the ethyl beta-isocyanatoacrylate/styrene copolymer.
