1.25 g Ethyl 3-{[(3′-{[imino(methylsulfanyl)methyl]amino}[1,1′-biphenyl]-3-yl)-sulfonyl]amino}-3-phenyl-propanoate 14.1.2 were dissolved in 20 ml n-propanol and 0.32 g aminoacetaldehyde-diethylacetal were added dropwise to the boiling solution within 6 h. flash chromatography (dichloromethane/acetic acid ethyl ester4+1) yielded 1.1 g.
