Procedure
6.0 g (0.015 mol) of 1-(2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-ethyl)-2-(phthalimido-methyl)-5-methyl-pyrrole (compare Example 4) and 7 ml (0.15 mol) of hydrazine hydrate are heated under reflux for 30 minutes. After the mixture has been concentrated, the residue is taken up in methylene chloride, the mixture is filtered, the filtrate is concentrated and the residue is chromatographed over a silica gel column.
