Reaction Steps
m-Chloroperbenzoic acid (3.1 g) is added to a solution of the compound of example 109 (4.6 g) in methylene chloride (50 ml) and the reaction mixture is stirred at room temperature for five hours. The mixture is washed first with diluted sodium metabisulfite and then with aqueous sodium bicarbonate.
