Procedure

A solution of 50 mg of 6-tert-butyl-8-chloro-2H-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyrazin-3-one and 68 mg of 2-(6-methoxy-pyridin-3-yl)-ethylamine in THF (2 mL) was heated in a microwave apparatus (Emrys-Optimizer®, Personal Chemistry Inc., 2 Hampshire St., Suite 100, Foxboro, Mass.) at 150° C. for 10 min. The solvent was removed and the residue was purified by silica gel chromatography to afford the title compound as a white solid after trituration. MS (M+H+)=343.3.
