Procedure
Lithium hydroxide (2 M, 4 ml) was warmed to 40° C. and a solution of methyl 2-(4-{[(3,4-dichloro-5-methyl-1H-pyrrol-2-yl)carbonyl]amino}piperidin-1-yl)-6-methoxypyrimidine-4-carboxylate (Example 315, 0.30 g, 0.68 mmol) in MeOH was added. The reaction temperature was increased to 60° C. and it was stirred at that temperature for 3 h. The MeOH was removed, the aqueous solution was cooled to 0° C. and then acidified with 1 N HCl. The precipitate was collected by suction filtration and washed with EtOAc to give the title compound (0.13 g).
