0.5 M ammonia/dioxane (10 ml, 5 mmol) was added to 2-(4-{[(3,4-dichloro-5-methyl-1H-pyrrol-2-yl)carbonyl]amino}piperidin-1-yl)-1,3-thiazole-5-sulfonic acid (Example 254; 100 mg, 0.226 mmol) in a pressure bottle. The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 4 h. Excess solvent was removed in vacuo and the brown solid was dried in vacuo to give the title compound (56 mg).
